St. John's is a great supporter of the local Women's Rural Resource Centre. During the year we hold three main events to assist the centre:
Love Your Neighbour Paper Drive
Every February, St. John's holds a paper drive for the WRRC. We accept donations all month long during office hours and during Sunday worship as well as a public drive up Paper Drive on the last Saturday in February
Back to School Backpack Drive
Each September St. John's collects and donates backpacks filled with the much needed supplies children need each year to start off a successful school year.
Christmas Mitten Tree
From mid-November to mid-December, our mitten tree is adorned with hats, mitts, scarves and socks for the women and children at the WRRC.
